New Church Membership
Are you seeking connection with a community that shares your faith and values? Our church welcomes you to our New Member Class: This class is designed for individuals who are interested in becoming active and engaged members of our church family.
Description:
The class serves as an introduction to our church's beliefs, mission, and values. Whether you are new to the area, seeking to grow in your faith, or simply looking for a spiritual home, this class is your first step toward becoming a fully integrated member of our church community.
What to Expect:
You will gain a deeper understanding of our church's history, core beliefs, ministries, and requirements of church membership. You will learn how you can actively contribute to the church's various ministries.

Huisache Avenue Baptist Church is a family of individuals who have put their faith in Jesus Christ alone for eternal salvation. If you have never made the decision to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour, it is the most important decision you can ever make. We would be thrilled to talk to you about it and personally explain what the Bible says about how you can know for sure you are on your way to Heaven when this life is over. Understand Our Purpose and Beliefs
The mission of Huisache Avenue Baptist Church is to glorify the Lord. We do that by winning the lost, teaching the found, and inspiring Christians to serve the Lord. Meet with a Pastor
We would be happy to welcome you into our family here at Huisache Avenue Baptist Church.
When you meet with one of the pastoral staff members, we will go over our church doctrine, what the bible teaches as far as the expectations of a church member, what church membership means, and the responsibilities of church members. We will also explain to you how we operate as a church and how you can be involved.
We believe that a church member should be faithful to church services, support the local church with tithes and offerings, be committed to God’s Word, the church, the Pastor, and one another, and be dedicated to reaching lost people with the good news of Jesus Christ.
Three Ways to Join the HABC Family
Baptism after Salvation:
After you have accepted Christ as your personal Saviour, you may follow God’s simple command of being baptized. Baptism is not necessary for salvation; it is simply a public testimony of your faith. As you follow Christ in baptism, you will be added as a Huisache Avenue Baptist Church member.
Testimony of Faith and Baptism:
If you have already accepted Christ and have been publicly baptized by immersion after salvation and are in agreement with Huisache Avenue Baptist Church’s statement of faith, you may present your testimony of salvation and baptism to a member of the pastoral staff and be voted into membership by your statement of faith and baptism from another church. You may do this by contacting us and speaking with a pastor or speaking to a pastor or worker during the invitation to any church service.
Statement of Faith by Baptism:
If you have accepted Christ and have not been baptized publicly by immersion, you will be asked to publicly identify with Christ and the Huisache Avenue Baptist Church by being baptized into our membership. Huisache Avenue Baptist Church is committed to maintaining doctrinal unity in this day of confusion and doctrinal compromise. If you believe that God has led you to this church and understand that baptism is simply a testimony of your faith, we invite you to identify with Christ and the Huisache Avenue Baptist Church by being baptized as the Lord leads you.
After meeting with the pastor and discussing how you will join the church, you will be asked to come forward at the invitation of one of our services, and we will vote you into the Huisache Avenue Baptist Church membership.
