Our adult ministries provide opportunities to study the Bible, grow in your walk with Christ, build genuine friendships, pray with other believers, and serve the Lord together.
Whether you are new to church, raising a family, navigating a new season of life, or simply looking for a place to belong, there is room for you at Huisache Avenue Baptist Church.

Adult Sunday School
Sundays at 10:00 a.m.
Adult Sunday School is a welcoming Bible class for adults who want to better understand Scripture and grow in their daily walk with Christ.
Each lesson is designed to be biblical, practical, and applicable to everyday life. Through careful Bible teaching, adults are encouraged to:
Understand the Scriptures more clearly
Develop a consistent walk with God
Strengthen their faith
Apply biblical truth to daily decisions
Grow through prayer and personal Bible study
Build relationships with other believers
Whether you have studied the Bible for many years or are just beginning, you are welcome to attend.
Wednesday Bible Study
Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
Our midweek Bible study gives the church family an opportunity to pause during a busy week, gather around God’s Word, and receive spiritual encouragement.
The Wednesday service includes Bible teaching, congregational prayer, and time to bring the needs of our church, missionaries, community, and families before the Lord.
While adults attend the Bible study, age-appropriate programs are available during the school year:
Master Club: Ages 3 through 6th grade
Momentum Student Ministry: 7th through 12th grade
Christian Fellowship
Church fellowship is more than attending the same services. It is sharing life, encouraging one another, praying together, and helping one another remain faithful to Christ.
Throughout the year, adults may participate in:
Churchwide fellowships and meals
Men’s prayer meetings and retreats
Ladies’ fellowships and special events
Outreach and community service
Missions’ activities
Ministry volunteer opportunities
Seasonal events and conferences
These gatherings provide natural opportunities to meet others, form lasting friendships, and become more connected to the life of the church.
Men’s Ministry
Our men’s ministry encourages men to become faithful followers of Christ, spiritual leaders in their homes, and dependable servants within the local church.
Through prayer meetings, Bible teaching, fellowship, service, and special events, men are challenged to grow in their relationship with God and strengthen one another.
Ladies’ Ministry
Our ladies’ ministry provides opportunities for women to grow spiritually, develop godly friendships, encourage one another, and serve the Lord together.
Ladies’ fellowships and special events are designed to provide biblical encouragement and meaningful connection through the different seasons of life.
