What Is a Christian Testimony?
A Christian testimony is the story of how a person came to understand the gospel and place his or her faith in Jesus Christ.
Each person’s circumstances are different, but the message of salvation is the same:
We are sinners in need of a Saviour.
Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose again.
Salvation is received by grace through faith in Christ.
A changed life is the result of salvation, not the cause of it.
These testimonies are not meant to draw attention to people. They are shared to give glory to the Lord and help others see what His grace can do.

Every Testimony Is Different
Some people come to Christ as children. Others are saved later in life.
Some testimonies involve dramatic changes, while others describe the quiet but equally miraculous work of God in a young heart. The power of a testimony is not determined by how shocking someone’s past was.
The greatest miracle in every Christian testimony is that a sinner was saved by the grace of God.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.”
