Visiting a church for the first time can feel uncertain, but we want your first visit to Huisache Avenue Baptist Church to be simple and comfortable.
Come as you are, bring your family, and join us for Christ-centered singing, warm fellowship, and clear preaching from the Bible.
Weekly Service Times
Sunday School
10:00 a.m.
Bible classes are available for children, teenagers, and adults. Our nursery is also available for children from birth through age two.
Sunday Morning Worship
11:00 a.m.
Join us for congregational singing, special music, prayer, and Bible preaching.
Sunday Evening Worship
6:00 p.m.
Our Sunday evening service provides another opportunity for preaching, worship, fellowship, and spiritual encouragement.
Wednesday Evening
6:30 p.m.
Adults gather for Bible study and prayer while children and teenagers participate in age-appropriate ministries during the school year.

Planning Your First Visit
We recommend arriving about 10–15 minutes early so you have time to park, enter the building, and find the appropriate classroom or seat.
When you arrive, one of our greeters will be glad to:

Show you where to go
Help you find the nursery or children’s classes
Answer questions about the service
Help you find comfortable seating
You will not be singled out or embarrassed. Our desire is simply to make you feel welcome and help you benefit from your visit.
Bringing Children?
Children are welcome at HABC.
During Sunday School, age-appropriate Bible classes are available for children and teenagers. Nursery care is available during all regular services for children from birth through age two.
One of our greeters will help your family find the correct classroom or nursery when you arrive.
What Are the Services Like?
Our services are centered on worshiping the Lord and hearing His Word.
You can expect:

Most services last approximately one hour to one hour and fifteen minutes.

Whether you are stationed in San Antonio temporarily or making the city your home, we would be glad to welcome you and your family.
The current page gives exact mileage to all four installations. That information is useful, but it reads slightly like search-engine copy. A shorter military section feels more natural. The present distances can still be included in smaller text when military searches are important to your website strategy.
